The Importance of Golf Club Head Selection

There are a multitude of options available when it comes to club head selection.  To help correct slight direction problems, drivers and fairway metals can be selected with varying face angles from 1° open to 1° closed.  This can help with shot patterns consisting of fades and draws.  To help correct a slice the some club heads are manufactured with an off set face.  Weight can also be adjusted without affecting the design characteristics of the club head.

Irons are also available with many game improvement features engineered into the head.  Muscle back forged carbon steel is available for low handicap players who need little in the way of game improvement engineering.  Cast and Forged cavity back irons are available with a multitude of options to manipulate the center of gravity which makes the iron easier to hit.
